11th Annual Blessing of The Grapes
JOIN US AT OUR 11TH ANNUAL
BLESSING OF THE GRAPES CEREMONY
SATURDAY JULY 22ND, 2017 9:00AM-2:00PM
In celebration of the beginning of our harvest and crush season, our Blessing Ceremony will take place Saturday July 22nd, 2017 at our St. James Vineyard Block in Vina, CA. This event is to bless the harvest and working to ensure a robust growing season. The Blessing Ceremony begins promptly at 10:30am. As a nearly 1400 year old tradition of building communities and partnerships with the support of local businesses, in addition to wine tasting and winery tours, guests will enjoy olive oil, local fruits and vegetables, monastic goods, and a variety of mobile catering. This event is complimentary to attend for both wine club members and the public.
Parking: Grounds open for parking at 9:00am. Parking is available next to the tasting room and new church; follow parking attendants as you drive onto the ground. Handicapped parking and shuttling to the event area is available.
Vendors: Open from 9:00am to 2:00pm guests are invited to enjoy local fruits and vegetables, coffee, Trappist made products and olive oils to be sampled and purchased.
Blessing Ceremony: The Blessing Ceremony begins promptly at 10:30am at our St. James Vineyard Block
Wine Tasting: Complimentary wine tasting booths will be open from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Please check in at any ID/Wristband booth before tasting. Wine tasting will only be available to guests with a wristband.
Winery Tours: Winery tours will be available in our wine cellar from 11:00am to 2:00pm
Purchases: Wine and merchandise is available to purchase in our tasting room as well as any sales booth. August Wine Club is available to our members on this day as well. Sales booths will be open to purchases 9:00am to 2:00pm. Tasting room open for purchases until 5:00pm
Mobile Catering: Guests are invited to purchase lunch to enjoy with wine tasting. Mobile Caterers are open from 11:00am to 2:00pm
